Egg numbers and incubators
Give each egg your own number and laid date, move eggs into an incubator and back under the pair, and trace every chick back to the egg and the pair that laid it.

Give each egg your own number and laid date, move eggs into an incubator and back under the pair, and trace every chick back to the egg and the pair that laid it.
Mark an egg hatched and the chick's record is offered there and then. Home lists any hatched chick still without a record, so you can create one, link a bird you already added, or mark it as needing none.
Sort the Birds list by ring number, youngest or oldest, species, cage or recently added, and group pairs by species, cage or status. Your choice follows you to every device you sign in on.
Missing a species or mutation? Suggest it, and add your own mutation to use in the calculator straight away, marked as unverified. We email you when your suggestion is decided.
A larger, cited set of budgerigar mutations in the calculator, with mutations of the same gene, such as greywing and dilute, worked out as one series.
The month your season starts is set once by the aviary's owner, so everyone in the aviary sees the same season summaries.
Star the species you keep and they come first in the species picker, and Add bird starts on your usual one.
Reads .xlsx and .xlsm, matches your column headings, and recognises common mutation and trade names.
Your whole aviary in one file, from the Birds list, More or Settings: birds, the stock list an inspector asks for, pairs, clutches and eggs, incubators, weights, finance, permits, the annual return, your own mutations and reminders. The Birds sheet uses the import's own headings, so the file reads straight back in.
Pairing predictions, mutation and split inheritance, pedigrees and inbreeding coefficients.
Every weigh-in charted for each chick and checked against the species weaning weight, with early warning when a chick loses weight or falls behind.
Permits with expiry reminders, ring series tracking and printable bird passports.
Record which birds belong to whom, with per-owner totals in the finance ledger.
